Student Drop Off and Pick Up

For the safety of our students, we ask that the following carpool rules and procedures are followed:

1. Please fill out and return the "How Will Your Child Go Home" form.

2. Please drive slowly when on campus.

3. Please follow prescribed carpool routes and all directional signs.

4. Please do not use cell phones or other electronic devices while driving on campus.

5. Please pull all the way up when dropping off and picking up your children.

6. Please do not get out of your car to assist your child during carpool.

K-2 Students

For morning drop off, turn into the North Founders Classical Academy parking lot and travel to the row of trees. Turn right before the trees. There will be two lanes of traffic. Pull up to the auditorium doors. They will be on your left. Cones will block off this drop off line at 7:43am allowing teachers to return to their classes.
Please remember that four tardies are equivalent to an absence and three absences will result in an Attendance Committee Meeting.

 

For afternoon pick up, turn into the north parking lot to begin snaking through the lanes. Hang your car tag in the window. Stay in the right lane.

• Pass the portable buildings, A/C units, playground and breezeway.
• Pull up to the cones in the right hand lane.
• After your student is in your car, wait for the person giving directions to allow you to merge to the left lane.
• Continue forward to the dumpster and turn right to leave the parking lot.

3-5th Grade Students and Siblings

6th - 12th Grade Students

For morning drop off, turn into the North Founders Classical parking lot and travel to the fence line. Stop at the East side of the building by the playground. Students will walk through the outside breezeway to the auditorium. Cones will block off this drop off line at 7:58am allowing teachers to return to their classes. Please remember that four tardies are equivalent to an absence and three absences will result in an Attendance Committee Meeting.

 

For afternoon pick-up, you will park in the North Founders Classical lot closest to the auditorium and students will come to you. No line will form as done for K-5. You do not need a car tag. Please make sure to watch for students and cars when leaving.

 

Additional Drop off and Pick up Information

The above carpool procedures will be in effect the first day of school.

When picking up your child after school do not park and come inside the building.

Parents must wait in the carpool line or in the north parking lot for your student.

(Your child’s car tag must be visible on your dashboard or in a window.)

**If you have children that need to be dropped off at multiple locations, they should be dropped off at the younger student’s location.

For pickup of multiple grade level K-2nd grade siblings of 3rd-5th students will be picked up at the 3rd-5th grade location.

For ALL 6th-12th grade students, please pull around to the north lot in front of the auditorium for them to walk to your car.

Please make sure you turn in the form to the front office or your teacher on how your student will be picked up each day.
